Mini Brussels

The Grand Place in Brussels is one of the most picturesque squares in the world. Being one Unesco World Heritage Site, the 68 by 110 meters square constitutes the most outstanding Belgium landmark. It amazes everyone who is there for the first time, when turning the corner and finding oneself surrounded by beautiful gothic buildings, such as the 96 meters high Brussels Town Hall. Every two years, in August, the square is filled with an enormous flower carpet of nothing less than 1 million begonias.
In the surroundings of the square you will find lots of restaurants and chocolate stores, a great opportunity to see why Belgium is so famous for its chocolate and beer.
