Amazing morning at Bejijo, Tenerife. The Anaga massif on the background made me believe in a lost world. I was expecting a pterodactyl flying off those cliffs any moment. =)
Last Autumn I went to this place twice. The first time the light was terrible. and the leaves too green. The second time it was a little bit past the peak color and there was a pool of leaves blocking 80% of the reflection. But the light was beautiful. By getting a little creative in the composition and dodging leaves I was able to capture an image that I ended up pretty happy with! =)
In this picture I tried to capture the Winter desolation in the Netherlands. Cold, short and dark days mark most of the Winter months. Misty mornings occur sporadically. While everybody is home getting a warm cup of tea underneath blankets, landscape photographers across the country are outdoors using this unique opportunity to capture moody landscapes.
