Where do the fairies live? The Scots claim they live in the Fairy Glen, a miniature landscape of grassy, cone-shaped hills located close to Uig, in the Isle of Skye. In the center of this picture is the Castle Ewen, which is not a castle, but a rock on the top of one of the grassy hills. It is an interesting place to explore, even the forests there look like a place where you would find some fairies. =)
Sligachan is a small settlement in the Isle of Skye, in Scotland. In This picture you can see the Sligachan river with the mountain Sgùrr nan Gillean in the back. The mountain is part of the Black Cuillin, a mountain range in Skye and quite famous in the UK. A curious fact about the Cuillin is that it is a private property, inherited by the descendents of the MacLeod clan. In 2000, the clan leader created a major controversy when he put the Cuillin for sale to pay for repairs of the Dunvegan Castle.
Spring is knocking on the door, let it come!
